Work you can point at
Tangible craft over strategy decks. Every engagement ends with something shipped — a brand system, a live site, a campaign in-market — not a binder.
Creative Scope is a full-service creative and digital marketing studio based in Toronto. We build brands, websites, and campaigns for ambitious companies — everything made in-house, owned by the client, and sold at a fixed price. No retainers that drift, no decks that hide the work, no agency cosplay.
Since 2018
Creative Scope started in 2018 as a two-person studio doing brand identity work out of a shared space on Dundas West. The thesis was simple: most agencies were either design boutiques that couldn't run ads or performance shops that couldn't build a brand. We wanted a studio that could do both, under one roof, for the same client.
Seven years later, the shape of the work has changed — paid media, web builds, content libraries, SEO — but the thesis hasn't. We still believe the best agencies are the ones that ship the thing, measure what it did, and sit across the table from the client every month to talk about it. No account layer. No pitch theatre. No farming work out to a studio in another time zone.
"The agency should be accountable to the outcome — not to the deck."
We turned down the growth-at-all-costs path early. We don't want to be a 200-person shop with 40% churn; we want to be a 14-person studio with clients who stay four years. That math only works if every engagement is actually good, and every person on the team can point at what they made.
So: fixed prices, no hourly ambush. Clients own the code, the creative, the ad accounts, the fonts, the source files. Everything in-house — no white-label partners, no subcontractors pretending to be us. 12-month partnerships as the default, because brand and growth work don't reveal themselves in 90 days.
Six rules we wrote down in year one and haven't had to rewrite since. They govern how we quote, how we hire, and what kinds of projects we say yes — and no — to.
Tangible craft over strategy decks. Every engagement ends with something shipped — a brand system, a live site, a campaign in-market — not a binder.
Fixed prices, agreed before the kickoff. No hourly ambush, no change-order creep, no surprise line items at month-end. If scope grows, we re-quote in the open.
Clients own everything — the code, the creative, the ad accounts, the fonts, the raw footage. Nothing lives behind an agency login. Ever.
No white-labels, no offshore studios, no freelance network. The person you meet on the call is the person making the thing. Six people, one roof.
Every service we offer runs month-to-month — no 12-month contracts holding you hostage. We do ask for a 90-day window so we can do real work and show real results, but the choice to stay (or leave) is yours, every month, from day one.
No agency cosplay — no framework acronyms, no invented methodologies, no hero shots of the team in matching hoodies. The work should make the noise.
Start-ups to large corporations — lifestyle, real estate, education, construction and more.

The things prospective clients ask on the first call. If yours isn't here, send it over — we'd rather answer it before you sign than after.
Ask us anythingSince 2018. Founded in Toronto by Moe Ismail, originally as a brand identity studio. Expanded into paid media, web, and content over the years — but still independent, still owner-operated.
4.3 years. Our default contract is 12 months, and most clients renew. We're not built for 90-day sprints — brand and growth work compound, and the interesting numbers show up in year two and three.
No. We take category exclusivity seriously — if you sign with us in a vertical, we won't sign a direct competitor for the length of the engagement. If we're already working with a competitor in your space, we'll tell you on the first call.
Yes — and we encourage it. Every engagement starts with a studio visit (or a proper video call, if you're out of town). You'll meet the people actually doing the work, not an account manager who'll disappear after kickoff.
Sometimes. We're happy to slot in as the brand or creative arm for a client whose AOR handles media planning, or vice versa. We'll coordinate cleanly, share access, and stay in our lane — as long as there's a real reason for the split.
We're in Toronto — 45 Lisgar St. — and roughly half our clients are local. The other half are across Canada, the US, and the UK. Remote engagements work well; we've shot in nine countries and run campaigns in four time zones. The studio just happens to be in Toronto.
