Facebook Adsthat compound.

On Facebook and Instagram, the ads themselves are what win or lose. We design and ship 20+ fresh ads a month for your business — testing what stops the scroll, doubling down on what brings in customers, and quietly killing what doesn't. No boosted posts. No fluff. Just more of the right people landing on your offer.

The thesis · 01

Creative is the new targeting.

In 2015, the edge was knowing which 1% lookalike to bid on. In 2026, the edge is how many good creatives you can ship. Meta's algorithm doesn't need your help finding buyers — it needs your help learning what makes them stop scrolling.

Which means most agencies are running the wrong playbook. They're still optimising audiences while the platform quietly flattens them all into "Advantage+." They're still making "one hero video a quarter" while the accounts that win are shipping four a week.

We built Creative Scope's Meta practice around the reality of the current platform: creative volume, clean data, fast decisions. Not a retainer that rents you a dashboard login.

Facebook isn't right for you if —
  • Your buyer is an enterprise CFO who never opens Instagram.
  • You can't produce new creative (or sign off on it) weekly.
  • Your sub-$30 AOV product can't absorb a $40 CPA.
  • You want guaranteed results in month one.

We'll tell you if that's you — and point you somewhere better. We'd rather pass on a fit than chase a logo.

What we run on Meta · 06 Disciplines

The full stack,
not just the ads.

Facebook Ads are 30% of the work. The other 70% is the creative system that feeds it, the tracking that measures it, and the structure that lets the algorithm do its job.

01Top of funnel

Prospecting

Cold-audience campaigns built around creative signal. Advantage+ broad when it earns it, stacked interests when it doesn't. Objective is always new-customer acquisition, not reach.

  • Broad + AI-expanded targeting
  • Creative-led ad set structure
  • 1% lookalikes as a sanity check
  • Incremental lift testing
KPI: nCAC, first-order margin
02Full-funnel

Advantage+ Shopping

Meta's most opaque and most effective campaign. We set it up right, feed it clean creative pools, and protect it from manager-override syndrome. Let the model work.

  • Catalog + creative sets
  • Existing-customer caps dialled
  • Refresh cadence baked in
  • Attribution window tuning
KPI: blended ROAS
03Mid funnel

Retargeting & DPA

Dynamic product ads driven by pixel + CAPI events. Cart, view-content, and engagement audiences tiered by recency. We don't spam your warm audience — we sequence them.

  • Dynamic product catalog
  • Recency-tiered audiences
  • Frequency caps by segment
  • Abandoned-cart sequencing
KPI: CVR lift, return ROAS
04Lead gen

Lead Ads

Instant Forms, with pre-fill turned off, custom qualification questions, and real-time CRM push. We treat lead quality — not quantity — as the scoreboard.

  • Instant Form qualification
  • Real-time CRM webhooks
  • Offline conversion upload
  • Lead-scoring feedback loop
KPI: SQL rate, CAC
05Creative system

Creative testing rigs

A library of hook formulas, shot templates, and editing patterns — paired with a structured test system that tells you which variables actually move the needle.

  • Hook / body / CTA matrix
  • Iso-variable test design
  • Weekly concept briefs
  • Creative performance tags
Output: 20+ variants / mo
06Measurement

CAPI & tracking

Server-side events via Conversions API — deduped, enriched with first-party data, surviving iOS and cookie loss. If Meta can't see the event, it can't optimise for it.

  • GTM server-side setup
  • Deduped pixel + CAPI events
  • First-party customer match
  • Offline event upload

Creative formats · Platform-native

Built for the feed,
not reformatted into it.

Every format serves a different moment in the scroll. We brief, shoot, and edit against each placement's physics — aspect ratio, sound expectation, attention budget, and the device it'll land on.

Common misconceptions · 06

Things people keep saying
that aren't true.

Bad information travels fast in performance marketing. Here's what we actually see, running Meta spend every week.

01
Claim

"Facebook Ads don't work anymore."

Reality

Meta still drives more measurable DTC revenue than any paid channel. It stopped working for agencies running 2019 playbooks — audience-led, low-creative-volume, pixel-only tracking. The accounts with clean CAPI and 20+ creatives a month are having their best years ever.

02
Claim

"Broad targeting means no strategy."

Reality

Broad + Advantage+ isn't 'letting Meta do it.' It's betting that your creative is strong enough to filter the audience faster than any interest-stack you could build. That's a strategy — just not the one people are used to.

03
Claim

"iOS 14.5 killed tracking."

Reality

It killed sloppy tracking. CAPI, server-side GTM, and enhanced conversions have closed 70–85% of the signal gap. The agencies still complaining about iOS are the ones who never set any of that up properly.

04
Claim

"You need a massive budget."

Reality

We run profitable Meta accounts at $3k/mo spend and $300k/mo spend. The bottleneck is never budget — it's creative velocity and offer strength. A $30k media budget with bad creative loses to a $6k budget with great creative every time.

05
Claim

"More ad sets = more optimisation."

Reality

The opposite. Each ad set splits your budget and delays Meta's learning phase. We consolidate into fewer, bigger ad sets with deeper creative pools. Fewer campaigns, more creatives — that's the 2026 move.

06
Claim

"Boosted posts are basically the same thing."

Reality

They aren't. Boosted posts give you 3% of Ads Manager's capability, no structured testing, and no proper objective targeting. We've never seen a boosted-post strategy out-perform even a basic Ads Manager setup.

FAQ · The honest answers

What people
actually ask.

Honestly, $3–5k/month to learn anything, and $10k+ to scale anything. Below that, you'll burn through budget in the learning phase before Meta has enough signal to optimise. If you're below $3k, we'll tell you — and usually suggest waiting or pointing you to a different channel.
