SEO Strategy

The main goal for phase 1 of our SEO strategy was to create new content that would compete for additional high-volume keywords in the home inspection industry. Here’s what we did:

The goal for phase 2 was to begin optimizing some of the newly created pages to perform and rank better. Specifically, pages targeting high-volume keyword/phrases.

At this point, we are ranking in the top 10 for 55% of the highest-volume keywords in the home inspection industry in Canada.

Paid Advertising – Meta Ads

Mike Holmes Inspections, known for upholding high standards in the home inspection industry, partnered with us to leverage Meta Ads to drive lead generation and promote franchise opportunities across Canada. Our focus was to design and execute a strategic, data-driven Meta Ads campaign that would reach and convert a targeted audience while optimizing cost per lead (CPL) and return on investment (ROI).

Several strategic enhancements were implemented to improve the campaign’s effectiveness. We optimized creatives to better align with potential franchisees, tested various ad formats, and streamlined the lead capture process reduced friction and boosted conversions.

From October 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024, our Meta Ads campaign achieved significant results for Mike Holmes Inspections, with 2.2787 million impressions. With ongoing bid optimizations and strategic budgeting, we successfully kept CPL within the target range, ensuring a steady flow of affordable, high-quality leads. We delivered a robust return on investment through targeted audience segmentation, creative refinement, and data-driven adjustments. We demonstrated the power of a well-executed Meta Ads strategy tailored to business goals.

E-mail Marketing

To enhance lead generation for Mike Holmes Inspections, we implemented a comprehensive email marketing strategy focused on effective lead capture, engagement, and optimization.

Form Integration: Added a lead capture form to the homepage, seamlessly linking it to our email platform to ensure effective lead collection and nurturing.

Lead Nurturing & Automation: Developed automated email flows to engage new leads immediately, keeping them informed and interested throughout the decision-making journey. 

Customer Data Management: Imported past customer data into the email platform to enable re-engagement with previous clients, boosting the potential for repeat business. 

Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously tracked and optimized each email campaign’s performance, refining subject lines, messaging, and timing to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

Our email campaign approach evolved as we tracked performance data. Initially, we sent one email per month; however, seeing strong engagement, we increased this to two monthly emails, which helped us maintain regular communication with leads and customers. Performance monitoring and ongoing optimization were key elements of our approach, where we tested and adjusted subject lines, messaging, and email timing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Through these efforts, we’ve seen positive outcomes.

Each month, we send thousands of emails to a steadily growing subscriber list, reflecting the success of our lead capture and re-engagement efforts. Our open rate remains significantly above the industry average, demonstrating strong engagement and interest from recipients. The unsubscribe rate remains minimal, indicating that our content resonates well with the audience and provides consistent value. Our subscriber base continues to expand as we capture new leads and reconnect with previous customers.
